“What is your favorite way to spend a lazy day?”
Reading. That’s my favorite day. Reading in bed. Reading in my gliding chair with a beer. Reading myself into a nap.
I have a habit of reading one chapter from a dumb amount of books on a daily basis. I never used to do that but especially since COVID, it’s been a bit of a compulsion. It seems to soothe my inner chaos.
My current reading list consists of “The Beautiful and Damned” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, “The Power” by Naomi Alderman, “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” by Mark Manson, “This is Your Brain on Food” by Uma Naidoo, “Deep Work” by Cal Newport, and “The Body Keeps the Score” by Bessel A. van der Kolk.
